Return and Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping at Origen. We strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Please read our return and exchange policy carefully:

  1. Time Frame: You may return or exchange eligible items within 15 days from the date of purchase.

  2. Condition of Items:

    • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in brand new condition.
    • All original tags must be attached to the product.
  3. Non-Returnable Items:

    • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes:
      • Items marked as on sale.
      • Jewelry & Sunglasses.
      • Bathing suits (swimwear).
      • Skincare & Cosmetics.
      • Note: Many of these items are non-refundable due to public health reasons, cross-contamination concerns, and FDA recommendations.
  4. Proof of Purchase:

    • A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.
    • If you do not have your receipt, please provide us with either the phone number or email you used at checkout.
  5. Refund Method:

    • Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
    • If the original payment method is unavailable (e.g., credit card has expired), store credit will be issued.
  6. Exchange Options:

    • Exchanges are subject to product availability.
    • If the desired exchange item is out of stock, a refund or store credit will be issued.
  7. Return Process:

    • To initiate a return or exchange, please bring the item(s) along with your receipt to our store location.
    • Online purchases can be returned by mail after obtaining prior approval from our customer service team. Contact us for return authorization and instructions.
  8. Defective Items:

    • If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately for assistance.
  9. Special Circumstances:

    • Management reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet the above conditions.
  10. Online Purchases:

    • For products purchased online, clients have 15 days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange.
    • Prior approval from our customer service team is required for all online returns or exchanges. Please contact us to obtain return authorization and instructions.

Please note that any shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product).

TERMS OF SALE & REFUND POLICY

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with your online purchase, we are

happy to refund your purchase price if the return complies with our return policy.

We accept returns for products purchased from shop-origen.com only, and all returns are inspected

upon return. All original tags must be attached to the product. Products purchased from

https://shop-origen.com/ must be returned in unworn, unwashed, and in brand new condition

within fifteen (15) days from date of purchase. Additionally, returns of items that qualified for a

free promotional item(s) must be returned with the free promotional item(s). If you are returning

a gift order and do not want the refund to be issued to the original form of payment, please contact

us at info@shop-origen.com.

Please note: Items noted as final sale or not returnable are not eligible for exchange or return. This

includes: (i) items marked as on sale, (ii) jewelry & sunglasses, and (iii) bathing suits (swimwear).

Shop-origen.com monitors return activity and reserves the right to deny returns that, in its sole

discretion, do not meet the return policy requirements, in instances of abuse, or for items that were

re-sent at no cost in a good faith gesture following a report of non-receipt.

*Refunds for returns received after 15 days are not guaranteed and will be made at the sole

discretion of shop-origen.com. If issued in these instances, shop-origen.com has the right to

provide the refunded amount in the form of an electronic gift card or a refund check.

For items returned within our returns policy, the purchase price will be refunded to the original

form of payment.

Returns will be processed within 3 business days of receipt at our warehouse, and you will receive

a credit confirmation with your refund amount once your return has been fully processed. If you

would like to return or exchange an item you received as a gift, please contact us and we will be

happy to assist.

1. EXCHANGE INSTRUCTIONS:

If you would like to exchange a product(s), simply return the eligible unwanted product(s). A

refund will be processed within 3 business days of receipt. You may then place a new order for

the product(s) you wish to purchase at any time. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If

the desired exchanged is out of stock, a refund or store credit will be issued.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE:Your offer to purchase goods is accepted solely upon the terms and conditions stated below. Any

additional or different terms and conditions proposed by you are rejected and shall have no effect.

You agree that your order is an offer to buy, under these Terms of Sale, all products and services

listed in your order. All orders must be accepted by us or we will not be obligated to sell the

products or services to you. We may choose not to accept orders at our sole discretion, even after

we send you a confirmation email with your order number and details of the items you have

ordered.

3. PRICES:

All prices, discounts, and promotions posted on this site are subject to change without notice. The

price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and

will be set out in your order confirmation email. Price increases will only apply to orders placed

after such changes. Posted prices do not include taxes or charges for shipping and handling. All

such taxes and charges will be added to your merchandise total and will be itemized in your

shopping cart and in your order confirmation email. We strive to display accurate price

information, however we may, on occasion, make inadvertent typographical errors, inaccuracies

or omissions related to pricing, promotions and availability. We reserve the right to correct any

errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time and to cancel any orders arising from such

occurrences.

4. ORDER PROCESSING:

Most orders are processed within 48 hours of receipt (processing time does not include weekend

days). Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Orders for

Priority Shipping will be processed the same day if received by 11am EST. Orders are processed

and shipped on business days only (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays). All

purchases are subject to credit authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases may

be processed and shipped.

5. ORDER STATUS:

Customers who have registered for an account with the Origen Web Site are able to check the

status of pending orders by visiting the Order Status page. Alternatively, you may email us or call

customer service. Once your order is shipped, your tracking number, if available, will be displayed.

To track your order via the carrier's Web site, you may click on the tracking number to view the

delivery status of your order. *Please note: Some carriers may not have tracking information

available for up to 24 business hours after the order is shipped.

6. ORDER CANCELLATIONS:Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some

reasons for cancellation are:

ï‚· Difficulty in processing payment information.

ï‚· Cannot ship to address provided.

ï‚· Duplicate order was placed.

ï‚· Cancelled due to a customer request.

ï‚· Purchase limits have been exceeded.

If your order is cancelled, you will receive an email notice to explain the reason for the

cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. If you are interested in placing a new

order or if you have questions about a cancelled order, please contact us at info@shop-origen.com.

7. REFUND PROCESSING:

To initiate a return or exchange for in store purchases, please bring the item(s) along with your

receipt to our store location. Customers wishing to request a refund for any product purchased

through the Origen website must initiate their request by contacting our customer service

department. The request for a refund must be made within the applicable refund period specified

in these Terms of Sale. A valid receipt of proof of purchase is required for all returns and

exchanges. Of you do not have your receipt, please provide us with either the phone number or

email you used at checkout.

Upon receipt of a refund request, Origen commits to processing such requests within a standard

timeframe of 7-10 business days. This period allows for the necessary administrative and financial

procedures to be completed to ensure the refund is processed accurately and efficiently. Refunds

will be processed using the original payment method used at the time of purchase. In the event that

such a method is no longer available or feasible, Origen will work with the customer to determine

a suitable alternative refund method.

Customers are advised that, following the initiation of a refund by Origen, the actual crediting of

the refund amount to the customer's account may be subject to additional processing time by the

bank or credit card issuing company. Origen recommends that customers contact their bank or

credit card issuing company directly if there are any questions or concerns regarding the timing or

receipt of the refunded amount after the completion of the refund process by Origen. It is the

customer's responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date payment information to facilitate the

refund process. Origen is not responsible for refunds lost due to incorrect account information

provided by the customer.

8. ITEM AVAILABILITY:If an item selected is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via

email. You will not be charged for any item until it is shipped.

9. DAMAGED ITEMS:

When your order arrives, please inspect the package for any damage that may have occurred during

shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to

the item(s) in your shipment, please retain the box, the packing materials, and the items inside and

contact us immediately for assistance. If you are unable to retain the contents due to the extent of

damage, handle with care to take a photo of damaged item(s), and then safely discard of the

damaged contents.

Note: Origen monitors claims of lost, missing, wrong and damaged items for abuse. Lost, missing,

wrong and damaged items must be reported immediately upon receipt of the shipment, and any

damaged, wrong, missing items must be retained (including the shipper). Origen reserves the right

to limit or deny the reshipment or credit of an order/item in all instances.

10. SHIPPING:

Origen accepts orders that are billed and shipped to locations within the United States. Orders are

shipped and delivered on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays).

Origen shall not be liable for any lost, stolen or damaged packages or for any delay caused by act

or default of the shipping carrier. Origen is responsible for orders until they leave our warehouse

facility only. Once tracking is received, it is between the shipping company and the customer to

ensure the goods arrive safely.

11. SHIPPING RULES AND RESTRICTIONS:

Due to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions applicable to orders placed for

international delivery, some of our products may not be available for delivery to certain

destinations outside the United States. We reserve the right to define which products may be

delivered to your country. Please note that many countries have specific import restrictions on

certain products of materials, it is the responsibility of customers to check local customs

regulations before placing an order for international delivery. All purchases will be made in US

dollars. International credit card providers or banks will determine the exchange rate and may add

an additional processing or administration fee. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a

formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply

according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing any

orders for international delivery.

12. PAYMENT METHODS:

For your security your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for

payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria.

13. BILLING:

Your credit card will be billed once your order is shipped.

14. SALES TAX:

We are required by law to collect state sales tax on orders being shipped to the following states -

AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN,

MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI,

WV. Sales tax will be assessed on the total purchase*, including shipping and handling charges.

NOTE: Shipping is taxable in ND, NE, SD, but is not taxable in SC and IA. If you have other

15. NO PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY:

We do not offer price adjustments on any products.

16. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION:Although we try to represent our shades and describe and depict textures of items as accurately as

possible, the actual colors you see depend on your monitor and product descriptions, colors,

information, or other content is subject to change.

17. FORCE MAJEURE:

Origen shall not be liable for any delay or failure of performance due to conditions or events

beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, natural disasters, accidents, labor

disputes, shortages, ordinances, rules and regulations and inability to obtain material, equipment

or transportation. If Origen’s production of merchandise is curtailed or suspended, deliveries may,

at Origen’s option, be cancelled or be proportionately curtailed and then, at Origen’s option,

resumed upon the removal of the cause so interfering with production and continued until the entire

quantity purchased hereunder has been delivered. Origen shall have the right to allocate its

available supply of goods among its customers and affiliates in such manner as Origen deems fair

and equitable.

18. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

ORIGEN MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,

WITH RESPECT TO THE GOODS DESCRIBED HEREIN, INCLUDING WITHOUT

LIMITATION ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY CONCERNING THE DESIGN,

MANUFACTURE, USE OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY SUCH GOODS OR ANY IMPLIED

WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

ORIGEN’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY COST, LOSS, DAMAGE OR OTHER POTENTIAL

OR ACTUAL EXPENSES ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY OUT OF THE

PURCHASE AND SALE OF THE GOODS DESCRIBED HEREIN SHALL NOT EXCEED

THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE GOODS WITH RESPECT TO WHICH

ANY CLAIM IS MADE, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WHETHER IN

CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE. IN NO EVENT SHALL ORIGEN BE LIABLE IN ANY

WAY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES EVEN IF ORIGEN IS

INFORMED OR IS OTHERWISE AWARE OR SHOULD BE AWARE OF THEIR

LIKELIHOOD.

19. GOVERNING LAW:

All matters arising out of or relating to the purchase of goods are governed by and construed in

accordance with the internal laws of the State of Florida, USA without giving effect to any choice

or conflict of law provision or rule (whether of the State of Florida or any other jurisdiction) that

would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than those of the State of Florida.

20. SUBMISSION TO JURISDICTION:Any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be instituted

in the federal courts of the United States of America or the courts of the State of Florida in each

case located in the County of Miami-Dade, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive

jurisdiction of such courts in any such suit, action or proceeding.

21. SEVERABILITY:

If any term or provision of these Terms of Sale is invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any

jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or

provision of these Terms of Sale or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in

any other jurisdiction.
